The Sisterhood of the Traveling BDU’S Conference is a project spearheaded by two teenage daughters of Military Service Members who want to do something special for other military female dependants between the ages of 13 - 17. It is their hope that with your help, together you can work to assist other military daughters in coping with some of the same challenges they struggled with during their parents’ deployment. The goal is to pair up 1 female service member to 4 female dependants to act as a mentor throughout the duration of this special event, creating relationships and support systems that will endure even beyond the conference.

All that is required is the willingness to do the following:

To act as mentors/chaperones to 4 teenage girls
Travel to venue with girls via charted buses from various pickup points throughout the state
To act as a “big sister” during the conference, providing emotional & moral support
Provide a good example of a strong woman & be open and willing to share
Ability to pass a Live Scan Background Check

Online mentorship training will be provided.

Transportation via chartered buses, hotel fees and meals are all covered.
